About Me

Ever since I can remember, I have loved dancing!  Every day, I dance at home with my sister. I began formal lessons doing Mom and Tot ballet classes. At three, I performed “Teddy Bear Picnic” at St. Jacob Play House.  All through school, beginning in JK, I entered the school talent show dancing ballet – sometimes with my siblings, and sometimes on my own.

While performing ballet on stage, I become the character: executing the steps, keeping a perfect posture, and allowing my arms to help tell the story, Ballet makes me feel confident, alive and whole. Usually people describe me as quiet, and shy.

During ballet training, I do my best to improve, embrace what I am taught, and work hard practicing.

I cannot express the joy I feel everyday since July 2017 attending L'Ecole Superiure de Ballet du Quebec (ESBQ) in Montreal full time.

My professional ballet journey began mid January 2015,  the director of my ballet studio asked if I was interested in auditioning for the National Ballet of Canada. I was so excited and overjoyed. A week and a half later, I was in Barrie. First attending an open class taught by the National Ballet of Canada (Saturday, January 31st).  Followed by the audition on Sunday,  February 1st. After two hours, they called my number (#6), and told me I made it into the professional program. WOW! I am closer to achieving my dream to become a professional ballet dancer.

I love watching other dancers – principal and non principal. They inspire me and I appreciate their talents. I believe every dancer can learn form one another. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to train with The National Ballet of Canada summer 2015, Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet summer 2016, and have been with . These are a chance in a lifetime to train with some of the best ballet dancers in the world.

July 2015, I attended Canada's National Ballet Summer School and had an amazing experience! Dancing everyday, living in residence with a fabulous roommate from California, and going on pointe.

On January 18, 2016, I auditioned for Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet in London and found out I was accepted on January 26th. I had another great July living with four roommates and training at RWB.

Winter 2017 I auditioned for three professional ballet schools, and was accepted into all three and choose to attend L'Ecole Superiure de Ballet du Quebec (ESBQ). It has been my best decision ever.
